About Me

I love to read, write and teach. I have always been an avid reader and hope to instill this love of reading to my students. Writing books has been a goal of mine since I was in the fifth grade. I have let life get into the way of that goal, but now is my time to take pen to paper! I am so excited to be part of the writing community. Teaching changes everyday and I am actively embracing this challenge. I am a third grade teacher and love to plan creative ways to learn. Third grade students are the best! I am a mom to two wonderful boys. Both boys have a dog. Abby is a Black Lab and Izzy is a Shar Pei. We are a sports family and I am rockin' it with Zumba classes. I enjoy scrapbooking and traveling. My favorite places have beaches. I hope to do more traveling in the near future.
